21 Mar 1943 -- The 885th Signal Depot Co is Transferred

In late March, multiple Signal Companies were relocated from Tinker Field, OK to Army Air Base New Orleans, LA. The former Army Air Field there is today known as Lakefront Airport. At least five units from Tinker Field were relocated, including:

• 900th Signal Depot Company Aviation
• 895th Signal Depot Company Aviation
• 884th Signal Depot Company Aviation
• 885th Signal Depot Company Aviation; and
• 886th Signal Depot Company Aviation

There were no individuals listed in the Order Extract
