10 Dec 1942 -- OCS Graduates / Commissions

Officer Candidate School graduates were notified December 10th, of their impending commissioning as Officers in the United States Army...the Orders extract stated in part "...each of the following-named 2ND LIEUTS, Sig C, AUS, (former grades and permanent non-military addresses indicate), who will satisfactorily complete the Officer Candidate Course at the E Sig C Sch on 18 Dec, 1942, is, effective that date ordered to active duty, and will report to the CO, this sta, for temp duty...".

All Officers were part of the Signal Corps, so all were transferred to the Lexington Signal Depot, Lexington, Kentucky--date of rank 18 Dec 1942.
